Colorado Motor Carriers Association Recognizes Two Navajo Express Drivers and Navajo's safety practices
Bruce Brown and Charles Hamilton Chosen for Driver of the Month.
On April 13, 2018 the Colorado Motor Carriers Association (CMCA) will host its yearly Safety Awards Banquet, which recognizes companies, drivers and safety professionals for their dedication to highway safety. Navajo Express is honored to have two drivers who will be receiving the CMCA’s Driver of the Month Award, Bruce Brown and Charles “Charley” Hamilton.
Drivers for this award are chosen based on their safe driving records, acts of courtesy/safety on the highway, or for performing a heroic deed, so you can see why were are thrilled that Bruce and Charley will be honored with this admired award!
Bruce has been with Navajo since 2002 and has been a diligent driver a little over 27 years. Bruce’s driving career has been nothing short of outstanding as he has driven over three million miles with no preventable accidents and only 6 non-preventable accidents (dang deer!).
Charley is no stranger to road as he has been with Navajo since 1999 and a professional driver for 36 years. Having driven five million miles with only four non-preventable accidents, Charley has received numerous awards such as New Mexico Motor Carrier Driver of the Month and Driver of the Year for Truck News. When he isn’t rocking it on the road, Charley can be seen hanging with his pug, Lil’ Jo.
Along with these two stellar drivers, Navajo Express will be awarded with Honorable Mention in the Truckload Division.
