International Roadcheck Set for May 4-6. What You Need to Expect

Since 1988, roadside inspections have given the industry and the general public an opportunity to learn about the importance of safe commercial vehicle operations.  Inspectors across north America will ensure that drivers are meeting maintenance and driver readiness standards.

Every year the CVSA chooses a specific category of violations to report data on.  This year during the 2021 International Roadcheck, the focus will be on checking hours-of-service documentation, while keeping close attention to vehicle lighting.  Vehicles that pass the inspection will receive a CVSA decal, and will not have to be re-inspected during the valid three-month period.

The annual International Roadcheck is scheduled for May 4-6, 2021.  CVSA-certified inspectors will be conducting compliance, enforcement, and educational initiatives targeted at motor carriers, vehicles, and driver safety.
